Train Mountain Institute

Train Mountain Institute is the non-profit 501c3 organization that owns Train Mountain and operates the Train Mountain Museum.  It is governed by a 5 member board.  With volunteer labor help from the Train Mountain Railroad organization, the museum offers seasonal family experiences with displays and tours. Train Mountain Institute also provides the ride on railroad hobby with the words longest 7.5″ track with 25 miles of mainline track on its 2200 acres of land

Train Mountain Railroad

Train Mountain Railroad (TMRR) is a 501c7 member benefit organization that provides volunteer labor to Train Mountain.  Members maintain the track and facilities. TMRR organizes meets throughout the year to allow members to enjoy the use of the facilities.  TMRR is governed by a 7 member board elected by its membership.
