Weyerhaueser Update
The coupler and snow plow, which had to be removed for transport, have now been replaced. Steve Panzik has located the proper bell and horn for this type of locomotive and is pursuing the creation of a replica builder’s plate. New windows have already been installed. Painting is still anticipated to be next summer after the Triennial.
Weyerhaueser Video
Commemorative USB flash drives are now available in the store for $20. These contain a video documentary of the moving of the 100-ton Weyerhaeuser locomotive to Train Mountain.
Triennial Registration
Registration for the 2025 Triennial is now open. Click “Triennial 2025” in the menu at the top of the page.
Driveway Sign
The sign over our driveway has been reinstalled following its removal for the Weyerhaeuser 101 move. It has been refurbished with new paint, lettering, and some new artwork.
Track Projects
The track between Hope and Panzik has been removed. This will allow the replacement of contaminated ballast from the 2021 flooding. Track will be closed North of Schubert Junction until next Spring.
